"Shine Brightly"
I just came back from the annual Academy trip to Catalina Island. I love it. I get to snorkel, kayak, hike, hang out in nature, hang out with my kids, meet new people... I freaking love the trip. While there, I was struck with a phrase, a big ol' hippie phrase that I'm sure I've heard from various people time and time again... but it struck me in a solid, deep down way... the way that a memory that's been on the edge of being realized and finally teeters over the edge into the day light of full awareness way. The words came into my head - shine brightly - and I realized that it's something I've been forgetting to do. Shine brightly.
If everyone one of us shined as bright as we could... imagine how brilliant the world would be.
