This ticket I got back in May, outside of the library in Venice where the street was not clearly marked at all, plus the only signage that was there was covered by a big, leafy tree --- regardless, the details are unimportant. The point is, when I got the ticket, I knew it wasn't right... I wrote my letter to fight the ticket, but I mentioned it to very very few people -- maybe only to Steve, actually. See, I wanted to test out some Secret philosophy on it: instead of focusing on getting the ticket, I wrote the letter and thought nothing more of getting the ticket -- if I thought about it, I only considered I would never have to pay it.
A couple months ago, I got a letter saying they were reviewing the incident (farther than I had ever gotten!)... and, then when I returned from Phoenix, boom, waiting there in the mailbox was another letter from the Parking Violations Bureau... I admit, I was a little nervous, but I opened it with full confidence.
And I got it. I really got it. I win! Now, I can truly never get another parking ticket. I've finished this one on top and that's how it's got to stay. Truly. No mas.
